Here's a few of things you will get to do on our trip with Spectrum Ministries:

Distribute Food

We'll visit a neighborhood and assist families by supplementing their groceries with essential items.

Share Joy

As parents are receiving their supplemental groceries, we'll provide games and fun for the kids, including prizes to win.

Spread the Gospel

Each neighborhood visit will include a storytelling time with the kids to present the person and work of Jesus.

FAQ

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Need to Bring:
  • Toiletries (toothbrush, soap, deodorant, towel, shower sandals, etc)
  • Change of clothes (we will be in the sun and doing some setup/teardown for community outreach ) 
  • Work shoes and walking shoes
  • Pillow and Sleeping bag
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Sleeping-bag/blanket (bunk beds do not have sheets)

Recommended:
  • Hat for the sun
  • Sunscreen
  • Bible

WHERE WILL WE STAY?

We will stay at the Spectrum Ministries offices/dormitory building. This is a gated property, with bunk beds, a meeting space, and a large kitchen.

WHAT IS SPECTRUM MINISTRIES?

Spectrum Ministries partners with local churches to reach families in our neighborhoods, build relationships, and offer practical hands-on help. They provide families with food and clothing as well as snacks, haircuts, and games for the kids. They share the Gospel to the children through our Kid’s Club time and offer prayers to those in need.
