Pray for others
These requests have been submitted by people in our church and beyond, asking us as a body to pray for them (updated weekly). Please pray for each individually.
Public Prayers of Expressions Church
- For Expressions Church:
- Please pray over our leadership & staff: Pastor Christopher, Melinda (Director of Operations), J. Mike (Worship Lead), Mila (Kid’s Ministry Lead), Jay (Fire Relief Coordinator), Alex (Technical Lead). Lord, please fill each of them with your strength, your endurance, your wisdom and discernment, and protect them from any spiritual attacks.
- Please pray over serve teams and for the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts and for courage to move through our community, for provisions and favor to go before us.
- Please pray for upcoming December events, that we may serve and love like Jesus.
- Please pray for those who don’t yet know the hope of the Good News and Gospel story – for those in our families, friends, neighbors, coworkers, classmates, etc. That you soften hearts, plant seeds, and guide us in Your will.
- Glen R. - brother (Mark) 12/13 update! Mark is strong enough to be placed on kidney transplant list.
- Martin Family – continued prayers over them and daughter Teresa, who’s facing later stages of dementia.
- Eric M. - Prayers for continued healing and peace
- Shar S. - for healing with both sisters (Laura and Linda) who have cancer, God's comfort and guidance in their current seasons.
- Connie & John S. - Continued prayers for healing, for recovery, and protection. Praise for being out of the hospital!
- Connie S. – Prayers for niece (Colleen) needs hear valve replacement surgery, but insurance keeps denying it. Pray for her continued faith!
- Grant H. - Please pray for God's will to be done, for provisions, and permanent housing.
- Mary S. – Prayers that cancer doesn’t spread, praise that it was caught early, and for wisdom and peace over the doctors and family in next steps. Prayers for broken wrist to heal
- Cayla B. – Please pray for provisions and God to provide
- Oscar L. – Prayers for girlfriend Marina who has pancreatic cancer – for healing, peace, and strength
- Lindsey T. – Prayers for my grandpa who is facing later stages of dementia, and for his care
- Thelma D. - Prayers for friend James, who recently lost his job and does not have faith or hope in God. Prayers for his salvation! Prayers for mom and dad, who were both recently hospitalized due to sickness.
- David P. - Prayers for family - our daughter-in-law just lost her job, her and our son and their small children will have to move real soon, we’d like prayer that they find something close to the Pasadena, Monrovia area and or if anyone in the church knows of a place they can rent on a limited budget.
- David & Anna P. – For grandson Luca (3) who has been in hospital for kidney complications, pray for healing
- Dan G. – for wife Susana who had appendix removed and experiencing lots of abdominal pain
- Dan G. – friend Renee and her husband Huce. He has been experiencing kidney failure, and has cancer
- J. Mike O. – Aunt Cynthia who is also having kidney complications
- Becca O. – Brother Kurtis who needs guidance, strength, and favor with family
- George O. – Prayers of comfort for family & friends of Ross, and are grieving his passing.
- Frances C. – Prayers for healing over fractured wrist, for tolerance of pain and quick recovery after her surgery!
- For all who are continuing to remain impacted by the Eaton Fire, those who are still displaced, trying to navigate rebuilding / moving / next steps / healing, especially as we draw near to the 1st anniversary.
