Prayer requests

Pray for others

These requests have been submitted by people in our church and beyond, asking us as a body to pray for them (updated weekly). Please pray for each individually.
Prayers:
  • For all who are continuing to remain impacted by the Eaton Fire, those who are still displaced, trying to navigate rebuilding / moving / next steps / healing.
  • Glen R. - brother (Mark) who needs a kidney transplant
  • Martin Family – prayers over them and Teresa
  • Eric M. - Prayers for continued healing and peace.
  • Shar S. - for healing with both sisters (Laura and Linda) who have cancer, God's comfort and guidance in their current seasons.
  • David R. - for mom, who is undergoing chemo
  • Connie & John S. - Continued prayers for healing.
  • Steven G. - prayers for healing, experiencing pain in kneecap and hoping to see a doctor soon
  • Grant H. - Please pray for God's will to be done, for provisions, and permanent housing.

  • October Prayer Night: ‘Names of Jesus’ series recap to pray through:
    • Jesus / Joshua – “The Lord Saves”
      • Matthew 1:21 – 'You are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.'
      • Hebrews 4:8–9 – 'For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day of rest still to come.'
      • Meaning: Jesus’ name in Hebrew—Yeshua—is the same as Joshua and means 'The Lord saves.'
    • Messiah (Christ) – The Anointed One
      • John 4:25–26 – 'The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming.” Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”'
      • Luke 2:11 – 'Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.'
    • Son of Man – Fully Human and Divine Representative
      • Matthew 20:28 – 'The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.'
      • Daniel 7:13–14 – 'One like a son of man... was given authority, glory and sovereign power; his dominion is an everlasting dominion.'
    • Son of God – The Divine Son
      • Luke 1:35 – 'The holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.'
      • John 3:16–17 – 'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son… that the world might be saved through him.'
    • Emmanuel – God With Us
      • Matthew 1:23 – 'The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means “God with us”).'
      • John 1:14 – 'The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.'
    • Cornerstone – The Foundation of Faith
      • Ephesians 2:19–20 – 'Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.'
      • 1 Peter 2:6 – 'See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.'
    • The Lion and the Lamb – Strength and Sacrifice
      • Revelation 5:5–6 – 'See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed… Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain.'
      • John 1:29 – 'Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!'
