Prayer requests

These requests have been submitted by people in our church and beyond, asking us as a body to pray for them (updated weekly). Please pray for each individually.

Public Prayers of Expressions Church:

• Shar S. & Stafford Family – for comfort and peace in the passing of her sister Laura.
• Martin Family – continued prayers over them and daughter Teresa (Bob, Cindy, Barbi)
• Lola G. –Prayers for God's continued guidance and direction in next steps.
• Connie S. – Prayers for niece and her family (Colleen & Shad)
• Thelma D. - Continued prayers for dad (Rodolfo) who is suffering from Dementia, and guidance for Thelma as primary caregiver.
• Lindsey T. - Prayers for Marco Sierra (mentor and family friend) who is recovering from a stroke.
• Jenna S. - Prayers for friend (Sarah B) gave birth to her fourth kid on Feb 25 and now has paralysis from her ankles downward. Pray for healing, pray that the doctors find answers. Pray for her kids who don't understand their moms condition.

• For Expressions Church:
  • Please pray the (4) NEW people who decided to recommit their lives to Jesus on Easter Sunday!
  • Please pray for our serve teams - for God to guide us well and for us to be anchored in the word (Band Team, Prayer Team, Kids & Students Team, Production Team, Serve SGV Team).
  • Please pray over our leadership & staff: Pastor Christopher, Melinda (Director of Operations), J. Mike (Worship Lead), Mila (Kid’s Ministry Lead), Jay (Fire Relief Coordinator), Alex (Technical Lead). Lord, please fill each of them with your strength, your endurance, your wisdom and discernment, and protect them from any spiritual attacks.
  • Please pray over serve teams and for the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts and for courage to move through our community, for provisions and favor to go before us.

• For Our Community & World:
  • For peace over escalating tensions in Iran & Israel. Lord, we ask for Your justice and power flood this earth. Help us and Your global Church to seek You first and love others the way You first loved us, and to serve and love both our neighbors & our enemies in the way Jesus did. Help us comfort those who are grieving, afraid, lonely, and suffering. Lord build Your kingdom here and guide us in all that we do.

Lord, thank you for hearing our prayers. Let Your will be done. AMEN.
