Prayer requests

These requests have been submitted by people in our church and beyond, asking us as a body to pray for them (updated weekly). Please pray for each individually.

Public Prayers of Expressions Church:

• Shar S. & Stafford Family – for comfort and peace in the passing of her sister Laura this week, and for continued guidance for her other sister Linda’s battle with cancer. Lord surround their family in this season!
• Martin Family – continued prayers over them and daughter Teresa, who’s facing later stages of dementia and is in Hospital. Pray for her to not be suffering, for comfort and peace, and to keep her beautiful smile (Bob, Cindy, Barbi)
• Norma U. - Pray for my friend Stephanie, who is needing a diagnosis, healing, and potential surgery.
• Eric M. – Prayers for healing and comfort for friend Ron, who is recovering from surgery.
• Lola G. – Praise! My sister Esther, who was released from the hospital!! We continue to ask for favor in healing with her nutrition and recovery process.
• Connie S. – Prayers for niece's family (Colleen and Shad) who both are in need of surgery and having issues with insurance. Also continued guidance with Connie and John's health and pain management.
• Thelma D. - Continued prayers for dad (Rodolfo) who is suffering from Dementia, and guidance for Thelma as primary caregiver.
• David & Anna P. – For grandson Luca (3) who has been in hospital for kidney complications, pray for healing!
• Grant H. - Please pray for God's will to be done, for provisions, and permanent housing.
• Cayla B. – Please pray for provisions and God to provide
• Lindsey T. – Prayers for my grandpa who is facing later stages of dementia, and for his care, and for aunt & uncle who are navigating later stages of MS.

  • Please pray over our leadership & staff: Pastor Christopher, Melinda (Director of Operations), J. Mike (Worship Lead), Mila (Kid’s Ministry Lead), Jay (Fire Relief Coordinator), Alex (Technical Lead). Lord, please fill each of them with your strength, your endurance, your wisdom and discernment, and protect them from any spiritual attacks.
  • Please pray over serve teams and for the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts and for courage to move through our community, for provisions and favor to go before us.
  • Please pray for those who don’t yet know the hope of the Good News and Gospel story, empower us to go and share Your love.

• For Our Community & World:
  • For our campus and Inglesia El Lirio De Los Valles (Lily of the Valley Church)
  • For all who are continuing to remain impacted by the Eaton Fire, those who are still displaced, trying to navigate rebuilding / moving / next steps / healing and are grieving.
  • Lord, we ask for Your justice and power flood this earth. Help us and Your global Church to seek You first and love others the way You first loved us, and to serve and love both our neighbors & our enemies in the way Jesus did. May Your love bridge gaps and unite people, and for Your wisdom to fill us and the world leaders - away from any greed or corruption - and towards Your peace. Help us comfort those who are grieving, afraid, lonely, and suffering. Lord build Your kingdom here and guide us in all that we do.

Lord, thank you for hearing our prayers. Let Your will be done. AMEN.
