Prayer requests

These requests have been submitted by people in our church and beyond, asking us as a body to pray for them (updated weekly). Please pray for each individually.

Public Prayers of Expressions Church:

• Shar S. & Stafford Family – for comfort and peace in the passing of her sister Laura, services were held 4/11.
• Martin Family – continued prayers over them and daughter Teresa (Bob, Cindy, Barbi)
• Connie S. – Prayers for niece (Colleen) and her family. Facing many difficult circumstances at once.
• Lindsey T. - Prayers over my family needed. Grandpa (with dementia and recovering from broken hip), mom & aunt (caregivers), and sister & brother-in-law (moving back to CA this summer, searching for work). 
• Jenna S. - Prayers for friend (Sarah B) gave birth to her fourth kid on Feb 25 and has paralysis. Pray for healing, pray that the doctors find answers. Pray for her kids who don't understand their moms condition.
• Esther - Please cover their family and community in prayer, mourning the sudden loss of daughter Koi (age 22). Services were held 4/11. 
• Oscar L. - Pray for my auntie Angelica, recovering from a brain aneurysm and emergency surgery.
• Eric Ma- Pray for my friend (Shade) who is in the ICU while vacationing in Cancun - he cannot be transported back to states until he improves.
• Andy T. - Pray for my friend's son (Daniel, age 3) who is still battling cancer. Potential 2nd lung surgery coming up mid-May.

• For Expressions Church:
  • For our on-going Community Groups! For us to grow together in the Holy Spirit and in God's word.
  • For the upcoming beach baptisms this summer. Lord we pray for Your power to embolden people ready to take this next step in making a public declaration of their faith, and for Your Holy Spirit to continually fill us. 
  • Please pray the (4) NEW people who decided to recommit their lives to Jesus on Easter Sunday!
  • Pray for all the visitors, families, and friends that joined us to celebrate Easter Sunday. Lord we ask for You to continue moving through all those relationships, and give us opportunities for Your kingdom to come and speak life. 
  • Please pray over our leadership, staff, and serve teams: Lord, please fill each of them with your strength, your endurance, your wisdom and discernment, and protect them from any spiritual attacks. We ask for Your Holy Spirit to fill our hearts and for courage to move through our community.

• For Our Community & World:
  • For peace over escalating tensions in Iran & Israel. Lord, we ask for Your justice and power flood this earth. Help us and Your global Church to seek You first and love others the way You first loved us, and to serve and love both our neighbors & our enemies in the way Jesus did. Help us comfort those who are grieving, afraid, lonely, and suffering. Lord build Your kingdom here and guide us in all that we do.

Lord, thank you for hearing our prayers. Let Your will be done. AMEN.
